WORLDWIDE SURPRISE (WELTWEIT WICHTELN) is an interactive game about development policy for children’s worship, Sunday School, kindergarten and primary school. It links intercultural learning with fair trade. It can also lead to partnerships arising between children worldwide.
WORLDWIDE SURPRISE can be played all the year round. Religious educational materials and Sunday School resources for Christmas (in German only), on fair trade, on other countries and religions and on the topic of ecology can also be ordered from the EMS Online Shop.
The national coordination office for the game is located at the EMS secretariat since the EMS churches are the sponsors and offer partnerships worldwide. Outreach is thus particularly strong in the southwest German Protestant churches.
