Rev Ulrike Schmidt-Hesse, Deputy Secretary-General of the EMS, gave an overview of the activities planned in her address.

In their reflections based on 1 Peter 3:8-17, Rev Lennox Mcubusi from South Africa and Rev Fientje Sopamena from Indonesia described what it meant to the Christian men and women in their churches to give account of their hope.
